I have had some serious doubt about low carb in the time I have been off. My main concern was that it seemed incompatible with my busy lifestyle, which involves a lot of traveling and eating out. Another concern was the exclusion of vegetables in the most purest form of LCHF.
In my last attempt I decided to be more liberal and this time I will be even less strict. I love vegetables and I struggle to see why we should not eat more greens. And lately my awareness of the absolutely disgusting meat industry has increased and there is no way I can justify eating even more meat. And more fat makes me sick. Therefore, I will merely limit the intake of wheat, sugar and starch. I am looking for something that is sustainable for me, not just for the next weeks but for years to come. And this makes my choice of eating more compatible with dinner dates, too :)
